What’s your favorite location campus that’s not included on our tour? Anywhere I can hide away and find a nice spot to read a book. Preferably outside on a nice sunny day.
Best D-hall creation or food item? Salmon rice bowl but I also love to experiment with different cultural cuisines that the D-hall staff creates weekly.
Where on campus do you feel most energized? In the middle of the Robins Center enjoying a basketball game.
Favorite music genre: R&B (specifically 60s-90s)
If you could go back to college and major in a different subject, what would you pick? Sports Management or Public Relations. Towards the end of my academic career, I noticed my love for sports and the avenues that surrounds it so I think it would be cool to go back and see where that would take me.
What advice would you give to students going through the college search process? When visiting schools, it is important to ask questions about things that you are interested in. While you are there for academia, it is equally important to get an insight into what social life is like on campus because this will be your home for the next four years. This way you can find a school that not only supports your academic goals but social interest as well. This will help you get better adjusted in your new environment and help you feel a sense of belonging.
