Preview Richmond

Preview Richmond events are day-long open houses for prospective students and their families. The Office of Admission typically offers Summer, Fall, and Spring open house events for interested applicants. Designed to provide a thorough look at what makes the Richmond experience truly unique, Preview events typically include a welcome from University administrators; sessions on admission, scholarship, and financial aid; academic overviews; campus tours; lunch on campus; and the ability to connect with current students, faculty, and staff on what life is like as a Spider.

Access Richmond

Access Richmond is a two-day event focused on furthering the academic journey of high school seniors by highlighting the experiences of current University of Richmond students who come from underrepresented groups, are first generation, or have limited income. During the two-day program, participants will have the opportunity to explore Richmond’s campus and community, dive deeper into the admissions process, and connect with current students. The second day of Access Richmond is connected to a larger open house event, Preview Richmond. You will have the opportunity to connect with more prospective students and build your own itinerary for the day.

Applications have closed for Access Richmond. We encourage you to register for Preview Richmond on Saturday, October 19.
